Juan is a seasoned professional with over 13 years of international experience in supporting social innovators and entrepreneurs. In his current role as Senior Regional Startup Manager at EIT Food, he is responsible for designing and implementing strategies to support early-stage agrifood entrepreneurs across Southern Europe. His work spans countries such as Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Malta, Cyprus, and Israel, focusing on key programs like the Seedbed Incubator and TeamUP Venture Builder.

Additionally, Juan Ignacio has contributed to academia as an Associate Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and as Lecturer and expert in Social Entrepreneurship in several institutions such as Learning by Helping, GBSB, Universitat Jaume I, Toulouse Business School, Fundació Bosch i Gimpera, among others.
